Poster designed to advertise poetry readings, using Emily Dickinson’s “If I Can Stop One Heart from Breaking” to interpret typographically.
The challenge was to convey the poem's message visually, using only typography, and two colours excluding substrate.
This work aims to depict how one act of kindness can induce a ripple effect, influencing those around us. The flow of continuous movement is embodied through the ocean-inspired colour palette.

Working with an eight-column grid, text blocks are aligned to the left, with the period punctuation mark acting as the focal point. I selected Mr. Eaves Sans for its clarity, maintaining a minimalist design to prevent distraction. The typographic hierarchy was established through varying font weights to highlight key elements.
