Book covers designed for an anthology of screenplays - Dunkirk, One Life and Oppenheimer.
This specific brief required all work to be created manually, with digital tools limited to text formatting in inDesign at the final stage. Adhering to this constraint, I opted for disposable film camera to subtly explore the theme of surveillance by engaging the sense of furtive observation, a key aspect of World War II.
The Dunkirk cover features abstract figurative shapes in a blue hue, reflecting the film’s distinctive visual style and tone.
